Persecuted, but Not Forsaken

Often in business when we don’t close a sale or get a contract that we invested a lot of time and money in, we take it personally. From today, I want you to start thinking about things in your business differently. When you don’t get a contract, or close a deal with a client it isn’t because God is partial or doesn’t love you. It’s because it wasn’t meant for you or isn’t your time yet or simply a test of your faith like Brother Job. And in some cases, God might have been protecting you from a nightmare client.

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. . . . For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (II Corinthians 4:8–10, 17–18).

Your declaration of the week:

I DECLARE God will work through my affliction to accomplish His purposes in my business and life.

I DECLARE God’s sovereignty over foul occurrence in my business.

I DECLARE finding God at work amid my struggles.

I trust God to work all things together for good in my life and business according to Romans 8:28. This is my declaration in Jesus name.

This week, I wish you favour and mercy in your business and personal life. 💗

Warmly,

Damilola Ogunremi,

Your friend and Coach.
