As a coach and spiritual and herbal enthusiast, I've always prioritised my health
from a young age. Even in my forties, I don't joke with herbal remedies that
can help me to stay vibrant.
I used to run a successful herbal blog before my training business took over.
Here are some health tips I swear by:
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Drinking water on an empty stomach kickstarts your metabolism. This is the
first thing I do every morning when I'm not fasting. #MorningRitual #Hydration
𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝘀:
Flaxseed, pumpkin seed, chia seed tea, or green tea with garlic and honey boost
digestion and immunity. After my morning tasks, I sometimes do settle down with
this healthy tea. #HerbalHealth #TeaTime
𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹:
Adding chia seeds to oatmeal enhances nutrient intake. If you're someone like
me who likes oatmeal, then stop taking your oatmeal bare and adopt this
approach. #HealthyBreakfast #Superfoods
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗸
& 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀:
Charcoal milk, onion juice, beetroot, and turmeric drinks detoxify the body. I
never joke with these healthy drinks. I take them whenever I can! #Detox #HerbalLife
𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀:
Steering clear of sugary drinks and biscuits reduces the risk of chronic diseases.
I run as far as I can from all these. And whenever I take them, I immediately
detoxify my system. I suggest you do the same. #HealthyChoices
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱:
Drinking plenty of water throughout the day keeps you energized and alert. I do
this a lot especially when I'm home. #StayHydrated #WaterIntake
𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲:
Switching to 70-100% dark chocolate is a heart-healthy treat. If you're someone
like me who likes chocolate, eat it healthy. #DarkChocolate #HealthyIndulgence
𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲:
Exercising twice a week maintains fitness and youthfulness, even if you're not
overweight. Some of my friends used to ask me, but you're not fat, why do you
exercise? I do it for these reasons. #FitnessRoutine #StayActive
Although it's tough, I encourage you to exercise at least twice a week. And
remember, you don’t need a gym to start exercising. If you can't commit at
home, a gym won't make it easier. I've got an exercise programme on my laptop, and
I'm committed to it.
If you have questions, drop them in the comments. Embrace these tips for a
healthier lifestyle and have a wonderful week ahead.
Love and light,
Your Professional Friend and Coach,
Damilola Ogunremi
