As an etiquette and image consultant and coach based in Lagos, I have
always believed in the power of character education and life skills for our
children and teens. Each year, to commemorate Children's Day, I organized
programs where young ones were taught invaluable lessons in character,
resilience, and life skills. We also provided a safe space for children who had
experienced sexual abuse to open up and find support. Despite the financial challenges
brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, which halted our annual programs, the mission
to nurture well-rounded, respectful and strong-minded children remains close to
my heart.

connections.

teach them accountability and the importance of fulfilling their obligations.
4. 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Create an environment where your children
feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions. This fosters trust and
emotional intelligence.

positively and persistently. Help them understand that setbacks are growth
opportunities.
Let's work together to build a brighter future for our children, filled
with strong values and good character.
