Trying to wake up from a terrifying dream is what it feels like when
trusted, supposedly close friends betray you, stab you in the back, ruin your
reputation without any justification, and still act like they've done you no
wrong by labelling you the bad guy in the pack.
More shockingly, in a society where moral standards are eroding, this
group of people thrives with their twisted personalities and deranged minds.
So, nothing to make them feel guilty, then. Don't worry about their conscience.
I suppose, no matter how long it takes, the divine always finds a way to bring
back to a person what they have sent out into the universe. You are free to
express your shock and hurt at the betrayal, but you should never fight with
these kinds of friends. Release them from your life, and move toward stronger
connections and this is how you win.
