The purpose of this course is to improve students' comprehension of basic table manners and eating etiquette in the context of their daily lives. The background of etiquette, appropriate greetings, handshakes, basic telephone skills, a table-setting chart, tableware, necessary utensils, use of the napkin, various dining styles (American and European), "resting and finished positions," and a fun quiz on the dos and don'ts of table manners will be covered.
