While you’re working hard
to increase your clientele, also consider compatibility.
Sometimes you will talk to
a prospective client and just not feel right about their person, their tone of
voice or manner of approach. This is not something to overlook. It’s usually a
sign that the two of you will not work well together. I’ve been in this energy
in the business many times in the past, and I can tell you assuredly that if
you have bad vibes about a person from the beginning, you will have difficulty
having an effective business relationship with them.
I know that when you are
just starting your business, you might be eager to take on as many clients as
possible. But, before you take on a customer, consider whether you can work
together.
Always remember that
quality is better than quantity.
