Dine with Confidence

In this picture, I am seen using my hand to eat, which is a departure from the usual etiquette of using a fork and knife to cut the meat. After enjoying the delicious jollof, I washed my hands and picked up the meat to cut it into small pieces for my mouth. This is a common practice in my society, especially when there is no traditional place setting laid out for you at a party. If you insist on using your spoon to cut the meat like a knife, it's not uncommon for the meat to fly out of your plate and land on the face or clothes of the person sitting opposite you. Sometimes, it even falls straight to the floor, which can be quite embarrassing. LOL!

It's always important to be mindful of common-sense etiquette in different situations.

Adapt to situations without any mishaps.

Always apply etiquette to help you avoid embarrassing situations and show respect to those around you.

I hope you find my insight on etiquette helpful.
