📘 The Book That Took Over 10 Years to Be Born



Over a decade ago, I walked into a client’s office to pick up a cheque for a training. While chatting warmly with some of the staff, one of my past participants said,

Coach Dami, why not put all these business etiquette lessons into a book so we can always have them handy?”


That sentence planted a seed.

But then, Mr. Olabanji of Sterling Insurance—an elderly professional I deeply respect—advised me, “𝘿𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙬𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨.”


Ten years felt like forever, but I obeyed him.

That very night, I drafted the outline—and for the next decade, I poured pieces of my experience into it through every children’s book, every training, every professional milestone.


This is the book that tested my patience, discipline, and love for what I do. I almost gave up many times, but a dear friend’s gentle push always brought me back. I worked day and night, fell sick, recovered, and kept going.
