Hello Mothers,
Throughout this time of the year, please look for teachable moments with
your children, and teach them a few golden rules to observe as they visit
family and friends.
For instance, it’s good etiquette to bring a gift for your host/hostess,
if your children are spending Christmas time with family or friends. It shows
appreciation and helps show your festive cheer during the holidays. A small
hamper, a bottle of wine or box of chocolates would be nice.
As we rise to the cheer of the festive and set out to visit or host
family and friends, it's easy for our good intentions to get lost in the wild behaviour of the season and be frustrated, bad-tempered and be rude. When your
emotional buttons are pushed in the flurry of activities, breathe...... And
remember to be kind, courteous and respectful of the other people you are
hosting, visiting and those you meet on your travels.
With Grace,
Your Coach & friend
